We have been given the exciting opportunity of taking the twenty-first edition of Parallax Art Fair to the new larger venue, Kensington Town Hall. The event will open 2-4 February 2018.
The fair has become very popular with Londoners and we were featured on BBC Radio London this year. The larger venue means more space for exhibitors and a bigger environment, especially as we average 10,000 - 16,000 visitors per show. We have reduced the rates on most spaces in line with our goal of creating a full-scale consumer fair aimed at supporting entrepreneurial artists and designers. We plan to increase footfall to 25,000 visitors. The venue also has an underground car park and is just off Kensington High Street, one of the busiest shopping streets in London. The highest sale ever made at PAF has been £13,000 and the highest profit, a whopping £25,000. We also give you skills through our manual and training-video centre that help you to develop your business and products indefinitely.
We are also excited to announce that Setsuko Ono (Yoko Ono’s sister) will be holding part of her one-person show at the February fair. This has been part-curated by our founder, Dr C G Barlow, and, after the fair, will move to Asia House and Daiwa Foundation in London. It is promoted by the prestigious public relations firm, Midas PR.
Exhibiting in February 2018 with us will prove to be an important and exciting moment for you. To celebrate we will also be making a new movie about the fair. We hope that you will join us in this exciting opportunity.
